IP Australia will host the next IP Forum at Australian Technology Park

IP Australia will host the next IP Forum at Australian Technology Park in Sydney on Thursday 18 June. This free event will feature practical workshops for participants and feature expert speakers including:

Doron Ben-Meir

Executive Director, Research, Innovation and Commercialisation, University of Melbourne – will be speaking about his experience in supporting Australian start-ups through grants and advisory programs.

Hamish Hawthorn

Ashley Newland

Managing Director, Calibre8 and the creator of the Scrubba Bag – will be speaking about establishing a strategic IP position at the early phase of a start-up and the immense value of this in securing funding and entering global markets.

Registered attorneys will be eligible for 1 CPE hour. Lunch will be provided.

Workshops

Following the expert speakers, IP Australia and AusIndustry will host two workshops for participants.

  1. Trade marks for start-ups
  2. Accessing business grants and assistance
